LiveBarn has created a unique platform that helps athletes and their families connect

Davies acted for LiveBarn Inc., a Montréal-based Canadian streaming service specializing in amateur and youth sports broadcasts, in its sale to GTCR LLC, a Chicago-based private equity firm.

GTCR’s newly formed technology and media platform, Ascent Sports Group, intends to build on LiveBarn's existing platform, which primarily serves the youth ice hockey community, while also supporting a range of other youth and amateur sports. A Montréal success story, LiveBarn was founded in 2015 by Farrel Miller and has become a leader in live and on-demand sports streaming from facilities across North America – enabling amateur athletes and their families, coaches and fans to watch, connect and share from anywhere.
