Davies Earns Distinction at the 2026 Life Sciences Americas Awards

Impact Deal of the Year – Knight Therapeutics’ Acquisition of Paladin

At last night’s 14th Annual Life Sciences Americas Awards in New York City, Davies won an Impact Deal of the Year Award for our work on Knight Therapeutics’ acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Paladin Pharma Inc.

The strategic transaction centred on securing and integrating Paladin’s Canadian prescription product rights and related intellectual property to strengthen Knight’s domestic portfolio. The result is a scaled Canadian platform for Knight’s specialty pharma footprint, designed to leverage IP-anchored brand equity.

The multidisciplinary Davies team that advised Knight Therapeutics was led by Sumeet Dang and Brian Kujavsky and included Hillel Rosen, Andrea Dupuis, Amélie Doyon and Ryan Brun (Private M&A); Olivia Khazam and Sabina Han (Tax); Hélène Bussières and Mark-Anthony Nakis (Employment); William Rodier-Dumais (Insolvency & Bankruptcy); Max Jarvie (IP/Privacy); and Elisa Kearney (Competition).
