Why did you choose Davies?

I decided to start my career here because I met so many lovely people during the interview process and knew that I would be surrounded by smart, thoughtful lawyers who could offer excellent training and exposure.

Is there something about you that we would be surprised to learn?

You might be surprised to learn that one of my hobbies is magic. While I am a little past my magic prime, if you handed me a deck of cards, I would still have a few tricks up my sleeve. I even prepped a couple before the Course aux Stages, just in case it came up — sadly, it did not.

Is there an organization that means a lot to you?

The Clinique juridique itinérante. The clinic’s mission is to promote access to justice for people experiencing homelessness in Montréal. My experience working at the clinic has reinforced the power of legal education and how it can be used to positively impact people’s lives.
