We are pleased to invite you to our newly renovated office for a special three-hour continuing education session presented by the Davies Academy. This session will feature three panels covering current topics related to Real Estate, Employment and Private M&A law, led by partners with extensive experience in their respective fields.

Panels

1. Real Estate Law
An overview of recent legislative and regulatory changes likely to impact developers and property owners. This presentation will be in French.

2. Employment Law
An overview of the latest developments in Québec from an employment perspective, including (i) long-term incentive plans, (ii) workplace harassment and violence, (iii) new labour standards and French language requirements and (iv) takeaways from recent caselaw. This presentation will be in English and French.

3. Private M&A Law (Regulatory, RWI, Closing Accounts and Locked Box)
An overview of the latest developments in private M&A transaction matters related to (i) antitrust and foreign investment review/approval timelines and processes, (ii) representation and warranty insurance coverage and process, (iii) post-closing purchase price adjustment provisions and disputes and (iv) locked-box transaction alternatives to traditional deals based on purchase price adjustments following closing. This presentation will be in French.

This session should allow you to obtain a maximum of three hours of continuing education credits in accordance with the Barreau du Québec guidelines on program eligibility. All attendees will receive an email confirmation attesting to their participation for their records.
