Sarah Powell Elected as a Fellow of the American College of Environmental Lawyers

The American College of Environmental Lawyers (ACOEL) welcomes Sarah Powell as a fellow in the 2025 class, making her one of only two Canadians to be included in the prestigious professional association.

Sarah is deeply involved in the development and reform of Canadian environmental law and has held many leadership roles in prominent legal and business organizations. Her practice focuses on mining, renewable energy and Indigenous issues, among other areas. Known for her thorough understanding of complex and evolving issues in environmental and energy law, Sarah’s clients rely on her to provide practical, concise advise.

Davies Environmental and Indigenous practice is led by a team that includes Sarah, Alexandria Pike, Marie-Claude Bellemare and Anne-Frédérique Bourret. This group has a reputation for cutting-edge knowledge and the ability to apply practical strategies to solve and move past complex challenges.
