Patricia Olasker Receives Osgoode’s Award of Excellence

Davies partner Patricia Olasker was recently recognized for her outstanding service as the President of the Osgoode Hall Law School Alumni Association and presented with the Award of Excellence, an honour celebrating Osgoode alumni who have distinguished themselves in their careers, bringing honour to both the profession and the school.

This prestigious accolade is granted by the Law School and reserved for truly exceptional occasions. The first recipient was J.J. Robinette and other recipients include G. Arthur Martin, Laura Legge, Lincoln Alexander and Peter Cory.

Patricia is only the 15th recipient of this award, which was established in 1983 and last presented in 2011.

Joining Osgoode’s Alumni Association as a director in 2015, Patricia assumed the presidency of the Board in 2020. A champion of alumni engagement activities, she recently led a campaign at Davies to establish the $1.2-million Davies Fellows Award, which provides financial support to first-year students at Osgoode who show exceptional promise. She is also a long-time adjunct professor, teaching the Advanced Business Law Workshop.
