DIF Capital Partners Buys Majority Stake in Valley Fiber

Davies acted for DIF Capital Partners in its majority investment in Valley Fiber Ltd., a rapidly growing Manitoba-based fiber-optics developer. Valley Fiber aims to connect more than 15,000 homes and businesses in rural Manitoba to high-speed networks over the next few years. DIF’s all-equity investment, made through DIF Core Infrastructure Fund II, will fuel this growth and provides an innovative but conservative capital structure for the company.

The Davies team advising on the transaction included Cameron Rusaw, Cynthia Hill, Avani Verma and Mathieu Taschereau (Corporate/M&A); Elisa Kearney (Competition); and Mark Firman (Employment & Labour).
