Davies is representing four women who were among the victims of former ski coach Bertrand Charest, who was convicted and sentenced to 12 years in prison for charges related to the sexual assault of athletes, including our clients. Davies is representing these courageous women on a pro bono basis.
On behalf of our clients, we are asking that the associations that were entrusted with their protection take responsibility for having failed them and other young athletes, and implement measures and safeguards to ensure that the abuse endured by our clients and others is never repeated.
We are pleased to participate in this important initiative led by B2ten, an organization dedicated to support amateur athletes in Canada.
