Koch Industries Invests in Genesis Robotics
Davies acted as Canadian counsel to Koch Chemical Technology Group, a leading design, engineering and manufacturing firm, in its strategic controlling investment in Genesis Robotics, a Canadian robotics technology innovator and subsidiary of Genesis Advanced Technology.
Under the agreement, the two companies will form a new company, Genesis Robotics and Motion Technologies, to commercialize innovative electric motor and actuation technologies, including the proprietary LiveDrive actuator.
The Davies team on this transaction included Vincent Mercier, Steven Harris and Gilles Comeau.
