Davies Partner Alexandria Pike Named Chair of CBA’s National Environmental, Energy and Resources Law Section
Davies partner Alexandria Pike has been elected to serve a one-year term as chair of the Canadian Bar Association’s National Environmental, Energy and Resources Law Section. Alex assumed the position on September 1, 2018, immediately following her term as vice-chair.
Widely recognized as a leading environmental lawyer, Alex has extensive experience in environmental risk analysis, enforcement defence, civil litigation and complex project work. She recently represented wind power developer Pattern Renewable Holdings Canada ULC in the development of one of the largest wind energy projects undertaken in Ontario.
Alex has been recognized in Chambers Global, Chambers Canada, The Best Lawyers in Canada, The Lexpert/American Lawyer Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada and Who’s Who Legal: Environment.
The CBA’s National Environmental, Energy and Resources Law Section deals with legal reform, legal education and management relating to the environment, energy and natural resources. In her role as chair, Alex will be responsible for guiding the executive committee of the Section and overseeing the Section’s activities in the coming year.
