Studying sociology prepared Hannah for a career in law by helping her develop transferable skills, such as active listening and the ability to understand situations from multiple perspectives.

She is eager to learn about different aspects of corporate law: “Each person I met at Davies sparked a new-found interest in their practice area, including mergers and acquisitions, real estate and tax.”

What experience, job or internship have you learned the most from or found most rewarding?

As a caseworker at Innocence McGill, I have investigated trial proceedings and reviewed volumes of registered evidence regarding claims of wrongful conviction in Québec. This collaborative role has been instrumental in helping me hone my legal research and organizational skills. The work I do has a real impact on the lives of our clients.

If you could choose a superpower, which would it be?
