What surprised you the most about Davies during the interview process?
The lawyers who interviewed me knew my file by heart. The interview style was very conversational, and the lawyers genuinely tried to get to know me.
Share a quote that is significant to you.
I like this quote by author Evelyn Beatrice Hall, which summarizes Voltaire's thinking, “I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.”
For me, there is nothing more important than freedom of expression.
Aside from your studies, what else do you like to spend time doing?
I am very interested in politics and particularly enjoy debating. I like reading – whether it be novels, finance books or political essays. In the winter, I take advantage of the snow to go skiing and, whenever possible, I love travelling and discovering new cultures.
