Maria brings more than two decades of experience as an environmental engineer to her role as Environmental Specialist.

Maria conducts environmental due diligence reviews, ensures regulatory compliance and assists with transactions involving environmental risk on projects across Canada. She has extensive expertise in environmental site assessments, remediation of contaminated sites, hydrogeological studies, environmental impact studies and contaminant dispersion modelling. Maria has a deep knowledge of the provincial and federal laws, regulations and guidelines relating to soil and groundwater contamination, air emissions, waste management, wastewater discharges, toxic substances and spills.

Maria is fluent, both written and spoken, in French, English, Spanish and Portuguese. A registered engineer, she is recognized as an Expert by the Ministère de l'Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques for the Province of Québec.
