Jordan provides practical, innovative advice to clients on a broad spectrum of corporate transactions.

Jordan advises clients on cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions. He has represented public and private companies, as well as various private equity firms on a wide variety of private M&A, venture capital and restructuring transactions of all sizes and regularly advises international clients on doing business in Canada. His industry experience includes telecommunications, financial services, entertainment, natural resources, energy, manufacturing and engineering.

Before joining Davies, Jordan practised corporate and commercial law at the Montréal office of a Canadian business law firm. He has acted on numerous landmark transactions including, among others, WSP Global’s C$1.4–billion acquisition of Golder Associates, Cirque du Soleil’s US$1.2–billion sale to its secured creditors (2021 Canadian Law Awards Insolvency Deal of the Year) and Cogeco’s C$720M sale of Cogeco Peer 1 to Digital Colony.

Wolseley Canada Inc.

Acted for Wolseley Canada Inc., the leading wholesale distributor to plumbing, HVAC/R, waterworks and industrial markets in Canada, in its acquisition of Yorkwest Plumbing Supply Inc., a distributor of building and industrial products in the greater Toronto area.

Plusgrade Inc.

Acted for Plusgrade in connection with General Atlantic’s strategic investment in the ancillary revenue powerhouse. The investment represents a monumental transaction for the global travel tech sector.

Vance Street Capital LLC

Acted for Vance Street Capital, a Los Angeles private equity fund, in the sale of Terra Insights, a Vancouver-based geotechnical, structural and geospatial monitoring company, to Orica for cash consideration of C$505 million. 

American Holt, LLC, a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management

Acted for American Holt, LLC, a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, in its acquisition of DMA Solution Inc., a leading engineering company for solutions in the manufacturing of high performance products for the PET plastic container and beverage industries.
