Chantelle Spagnola Discusses Paperless Investigations

Davies lawyer Chantelle Spagnola was quoted in a Law Times article discussing the Law Society of Upper Canada’s (LSUC’s) efforts to develop and implement digital tools as part of its initiative to make investigative and disciplinary procedures paperless.

Having conducted completely electronic civil litigation trials, Chantelle explained that the LSUC’s initiatives could reinforce the need for lawyers to increase their technological proficiency. It will “encourage people to be competent and understand the technology they’re using, knowing the implications that somebody could potentially get access to the metadata.”
