Davies is acting for Vance Street Capital, a Los Angeles private equity fund, in the sale of Terra Insights, a Vancouver-based geotechnical, structural and geospatial monitoring company, to Orica, one of the world's premier mining and infrastructure solutions providers, for cash consideration of C$505 million.
Vance invests in engineering solutions companies in the medical and industrial sectors. The firm has been acting for Vance since 2018 in connection with several bolt-on acquisitions by Terra, culminating in its sale to Orica.
