Benchmark Litigation Recognizes Andrea Burke, Cara Cameron, Chantelle Cseh, Sandra Forbes and Maureen Littlejohn Among the Top 100 Women in Canada

Five Davies partners are named among the country’s top 100 women litigators for 2022 by Benchmark Litigation:

  • Andrea L. Burke is a trusted adviser to companies navigating complex business disputes and corporate litigation. Clients value Andrea’s thoughtful, decisive and strategic approach. In addition to specializing in a broad range of commercial litigation, she has extensive experience in securities-related litigation and is currently serving as a part-time adjudicator for the Capital Markets Tribunal of the Ontario Securities Commission.
  • Cara Cameron has an exceptional track record in high-stakes commercial litigation at all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada. She has particular expertise in contractual disputes; shareholders’ rights disputes; commercial fraud, asset tracing and debt recovery actions; and white collar investigations. Known for her sharp focus and leadership skills, Cara is often called on to manage large and complex multijurisdictional cases.
  • Chantelle Cseh is recognized for her stellar advocacy skills and is a trailblazer in the digitization of Ontario courtrooms. She acted as lead counsel for the Estate Trustees of Barry and Honey Sherman in a precedent-setting appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada involving privacy rights. She is a recipient of the Ontario Bar Association’s Heather McArthur Memorial Young Lawyers Award (2020); Osgoode Hall Law School’s Alumni Gold Key Award, One-to-Watch (2019); and a Lexpert Zenith Award: Celebrating Change Agents in Law (2019).
  • Sandra A. Forbes is regarded as one of Canada’s leading litigators specializing in corporate, class action, securities and competition litigation, with a particular focus on national and cross-border class actions. She is a regent of the prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers, a fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and a former president of The Advocates’ Society.
  • Maureen Littlejohn has earned a reputation as a passionate and talented advocate in complex litigation requiring a high level of legal and technical expertise. Her broad civil litigation practice encompasses commercial disputes, insolvency proceedings, estate litigation, breach-of-confidence matters and class actions, with a particular emphasis on contractual and infrastructure disputes.
