Davies Named a Top 100 Firm by Global Restructuring Review

For the fourth consecutive year, Davies has been recognized by Global Restructuring Review among the top 100 law firms in the world in the areas of cross-border restructuring and insolvency.

The recognition caps off a year of outstanding work for our clients on high-profile cross-border restructurings and reflects the global strength of our team, which was recently awarded “Restructuring and Insolvency Team of the Year” at the IFLR Canada Awards 2020.

Over the past year, the team has acted for the monitor of Imperial Tobacco Canada Limited in proceedings under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA) and Chapter 15 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code; FCF Co., Ltd. in its US$928-million cross-border acquisition of all the assets of Clover Leaf Foods and Bumble Bee Foods; The Aldo Group Inc. in its proceedings under the CCAA and Chapter 15 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code; and GIS Debt Acquisition Partnership in G.I. Sportz Inc.’s proceedings under the CCAA and subsequent sale to Kore Outdoor Inc.

The GRR 100 rankings are based on reputation, recent work and experience, as determined via extensive research and client review.
