With a reputation for excellence in this sector, we worked on some of this year’s most significant and innovative energy deals, including:

• Axium Infrastructure Inc.’s equity investment in a 900 MW combined cycle natural gas power plant to be built near Edson, Alberta, known as the Cascade Power Project;
• EAS Energy Partners (a consortium of Enwave, AECOM and Saunders Concessions), which entered into a concession agreement with the National Western Center Authority for the construction, financing, operation and maintenance of a campus energy program for the National Western Center in Denver; and
• Bonterra Energy Corp.’s response to Obsidian Energy Ltd.’s unsolicited takeover bid.
