Last night at the International Tax Review’s (ITR’s) Americas Tax Awards, Davies was a recipient of the Americas M&A Tax Deal of the Year award in recognition of its work on Burger King Worldwide, Inc.’s acquisition of Tim Hortons Inc. and the creation of Restaurant Brands International. The firm was also shortlisted for Canada Tax Firm of the Year.
