Brent’s interest in law stems from his desire to understand how people interact and, by extension, the rules and regulations that govern them.

He values the mentoring that Davies students receive and looks forward to continuing to learn from “some of the brightest legal minds in the country.”

In his spare time, Brent plays hockey, works as a DJ and runs a jewellery company specializing in high-end bracelets.

Which myth about Davies would you want to dispel?

That Davies focuses solely on grades during the interview process – in fact, Davies truly looks for well-rounded candidates.

What experience, job or internship have you learned the most from?

I have learned the most from founding and running my own startup. I have experienced business situations and dealt with people in ways that cannot be learned in a classroom.

Whom have you learned the most from personally or professionally? What did you learn from them?

My parents. They taught me that my reputation is everything, to treat others how I want to be treated and, most important, that anything worth doing is never going to be easy, so work hard and get it done.
