Timothy chose a career in law so he could help others – be it individuals or corporations – with important matters that are often at the core of their private life or existence.

During his undergraduate history studies, Timothy learned the importance of understanding and empathizing with people who had different views or mindsets from his own. He believes that these skills will serve him well in his law career, in which he’ll be dealing with multiple parties, each with their own interests and viewpoints.

Timothy was drawn to Davies because of the people he met during the interview process and the passion they showed for the firm. He was impressed that lawyers and students alike were proud to speak about the firm’s unique culture, style and model.

If you were not a lawyer, what career would you have chosen?

Journalist. It would be rewarding to have a job that allows you to closely observe, reflect on and write about the world around you.

Whom do you most admire?

My grandmother. She is 90 years old! My grandmother has the ability to think positively of even the most depressing events, and encourage herself and others to get past difficulties.
