With Rose’s background in policy work and her deep sense of curiosity, pursuing law is a natural progression for her career.

She looks forward to working on mining-related files, driven by her interest in the business side of mining corporations’ sustainability practices, and to gaining exposure to practice areas that are completely new to her.

Is there an organization that means a lot to you?

Niagara Dog Rescue, the organization that rescued my dog! Aside from adopting Nike, I also donate to the organization’s various fundraisers.

What experience, job or internship have you learned the most from or found most rewarding?

Working at the Embassy of Canada to Iceland in Reykjavík for a summer is definitely a standout experience. It was also my first job in the public policy and diplomacy world. I was selected as one of eight students in my master’s program to work at a Canadian Embassy abroad.

Is there something about you that we would be surprised to learn?

I have a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
