Matthew’s degree in industrial relations and management has provided him with an understanding of business principles and inspired him to pursue a career in corporate law.
For Matthew, law is a dynamic field that involves solving exciting and challenging problems. He chose Davies for our firm’s transactional work and because of the great people he met during the interview process.
In 2016, Matthew won the W. Struan Robertson, Q.C., Memorial Prize, awarded to the student who best combines academic excellence with extracurricular activities in the first two years of law school.
If you were not a lawyer, what career would you have chosen?
NHL Sports Agent.
What are you most looking forward to during your time at Davies?
Working with amazing people, gaining exposure to complex transactions and receiving significant responsibilities.
What experience, job or internship have you learned the most from or found most rewarding?
Spending 15 summers at camp, I learned important life skills, made lifelong friends and influenced lives.
