If you were not a lawyer, what career would you have chosen?

If I were not a lawyer, I would have pursued my PhD and chosen a career as a professor and researcher. I’ve always been passionate about learning new things, exploring new ideas and sharing knowledge. Much like in law, I enjoy breaking down complex problems to simpler solutions, and I believe these skills would have served me well in academia as well.

Why did you choose to work at Davies?

My decision to work at Davies was primarily driven by people – every lawyer I interacted with was so enthusiastic and passionate about their work that it made me eager to be a part of such an energetic team. The firm’s generalist approach was another aspect that really resonated with me. I truly appreciate the firm’s belief that there should absolutely be no need to narrow your focus when you are just starting your career.

Aside from your studies, what else do you like to spend time doing?

Aside from my studies, I am deeply passionate about painting. It’s more than just a hobby to me – it’s my safe space which gives me immense happiness and peace. I strongly believe in the power of art, and I make sure to never run out of colours or canvases as inspiration can strike at any time!
