Vincent’s courses in math, physics and philosophy demonstrated for him the value of logical reasoning.

What makes you eager to start your job at Davies?

This will be my first practical professional experience in the legal field, outside the classroom. I am excited to apply my learnings and I am particularly eager to work with, and get to know, the lawyers I had the chance to meet during the Course aux Stages.

What attracts you to the practice of law?

I have always appreciated my science and philosophy courses for the logical reasoning they required. I found in law the same opportunity to develop in-depth logical reasoning on very specific issues while having the possibility to evolve in the business world.

Who do you admire the most and why?

The person I admire the most is my maternal grandfather. I admire his determination to obtain a university degree in an environment where it was neither common nor encouraged. He joined the army to pay for his education and went from being a driver to a Canadian representative abroad.
