Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Criminology, fields that emphasize a policy-oriented analysis of current events.

He believes his studies have given him a big-picture understanding of the world, which will enable him to provide a more informed opinion when advising clients.

Jonathan was pleasantly surprised by the informality of the interview process at Davies. He is excited to be working on challenging files with brilliant, friendly colleagues.

What experience, job or internship have you learned the most from or found most rewarding?

I practised karate for 10 years, which taught me the value of constant dedication and hard work, and that there are no shortcuts or substitutes for practice.

What qualities do you think a good lawyer should have?

Integrity, communication skills, passion, humility and a constant willingness to learn.

What inspires and motivates you?

Setting goals, both short- and long-term, and meeting them.
