What did you study?

I stumbled into sociology without knowing much about it but immediately fell in love with the study of social structures, inequality and societal organizations. It really opened my eyes to the different ways in which these social forces shape society.

Is there an organization that means a lot to you?

The CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation. I spent three years volunteering on the neonatal, urgent care and oncology floors and was immensely touched by all the patients I met during that time. Having been born prematurely myself, I felt it was important for me to help families going through what mine had.
