Employment, Labour and Executive Compensation Lawyer
Davies is hiring a lawyer with at least four years of experience to join our Montréal Employment, Labour and Executive Compensation practice.
As a Davies lawyer, you will be a full group participant from day one – involved in all aspects of employer-side representation. This would include drafting executive employment agreements; participating in the negotiation of collective agreements; pleading before administrative and civil courts; supervising investigations of allegations regarding workplace misconduct; participating in mediation and conciliation meetings; providing advice and guidance on executive compensation and strategic human resources matters; providing legal opinions, including on human rights issues; and working with the Corporate practice lawyers on employee matters arising from commercial transactions, such as performing due diligence and providing input on purchase agreements.
We are looking for a candidate with an excellent academic record and good communication skills, experience in a similar high-calibre employment and labour law practice, a commitment to exceeding client expectations and the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously. Extensive knowledge of Canadian and Québec employment law as well as membership in the Québec Bar are essential.
To apply, please email your resumé and cover letter to Nanci Ship, Chief Legal Talent and Culture Officer, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for further consideration will be contacted.
