123Dentist, Altima Dental and Lapointe Group Announce Strategic Merger
Davies is acting as Canadian counsel to KKR, a leading global investment firm, in its equity investment in connection with the strategic merger between 123Dentist, Altima Dental and Lapointe Group. The merger will create one of the largest dental support organizations in Canada, with nearly 350 supported dental practices. The transaction is being financed through equity capital provided by Peloton Capital Management, KKR, Heartland Dental and Sentinel Capital Partners.
The deal is subject to customary closing conditions, including clearance under the Competition Act (Canada), and is expected to close in the third quarter of 2022.
