Canadian Lawyer has named Davies partner Julie Girard as one of the Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers in Canada for 2019.

Julie earned the honour in the Changemakers category for her pro bono work representing four sexual assault victims of former ski coach Bertrand Charest. As a result of Julie’s advocacy and counsel, her clients’ initiative led to the announcement of provincial and federal policies for sports governing bodies that will ensure safety in sport for all current and future Canadian athletes.

Now in its 10th year, the Canadian Lawyer’s Top 25 Most Influential list celebrates the Canadian lawyers and judges who have had the most impact on the profession and society over the past 18 months.
