Davies partner Sandra Forbes has been elected for a four-year term on the Board of Regents of the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL), widely considered the premier professional organization of trial lawyers in North America.
Sandra specializes in corporate, class action, securities and competition litigation, with a particular focus on defending clients in national and cross-border class actions. She represents clients before all levels of court and various administrative tribunals, including the Competition Tribunal. Sandra is consistently recognized in numerous ranking publications, including Chambers Global, Chambers Canada, The Legal 500 Canada, The Lexpert/American Lawyer Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada, Who’s Who Legal and The Best Lawyers in Canada.
As one of 15 regents, Sandra is responsible for governance and oversight of the affairs of the College, which, with more than 6,000 Fellows in the United States and Canada, is dedicated to maintaining and improving the standards of trial practice, professionalism, ethics and the administration of justice.
