Environmental and Indigenous

Businesses facing environmental and social risk want advisers who can help handle issues as they come up. Or better yet, anticipate and manage them so they don’t. Our team brings cutting-edge knowledge and practical strategies to solve and move past complex challenges.

We assess and tackle your environmental liabilities and exposures. When your board is concerned about liability exposure, we are there to provide clear advice and a practical way forward. And when arbitration or litigation comes into play, we advocate at all levels of tribunals and courts.

From project development to remediation of contaminated lands and from regulatory investigations to Indigenous engagement, we take a pragmatic approach to resolving complicated issues.

Our industry knowledge comes from years of immersing ourselves in our clients’ interests and business objectives. Spanning industries and regions – from local to global, we have a particular focus on mining, manufacturing, pulp and paper, energy, chemical and real estate.

Actively involved in the development and reform of environmental law, we advise and advocate for you, knowing where the law stands and where it’s headed.
