Kimberly is drawn to the law because there is always a new challenge to tackle and a new opportunity to develop creative solutions to problems.

Kimberly’s background in criminology with a research specialization in psychology prepared her for the practice of law by sharpening her research skills and giving her a deep understanding of what drives human behaviour.

Why did you choose to work with Davies?

A combination of Davies’ reputation for unparalleled student development and the amazing people I met. Each person was incredibly interesting and driven, and they all expressed a clear desire to help young lawyers develop their careers.

What inspires and motivates you?

I am motivated by the people around me. Seeing others do great things and achieve success in their chosen field inspires me to work harder toward my own goals.

Is there an organization that means a lot to you?

I volunteer weekly with the LAWS program, which is designed to motivate and support high-school students in their pursuit of post-secondary education. Coming from a rural community where few people pursued any kind of post-secondary schooling, I recognize the importance of a program such as this one.
