During her undergraduate studies in Law & Society, Diana learned the importance of remembering that at the end of every case and every use of the law is a person whom that law is affecting.
At age 19, while pursuing her undergraduate degree, Diana started an at-home laser hair removal business, which she built from the ground up. She continues to run the business, balancing it with her law school studies. She believes that her entrepreneurial spirit, creative nature and client-centred focus will be valuable assets in her law career.
Diana chose Davies for the opportunity to learn from the best legal minds so she can become the best lawyer possible.
What surprised you most about Davies during the interview process?
I was most surprised by how welcoming every person I met was, mainly because there is a misconception that the interviews would be “tense and scary” – they were the complete opposite.
Whom do you most admire?
My mother, for being the toughest, most selfless woman I know, and my father, for teaching me that hard work will pay off.
If you could choose a superpower, which would it be?
Omnilingualism, so I could communicate with any person, anywhere in the world.
