Antonietta Gelfusa
Antonietta Gelfusa is a paralegal who assists attorneys practising mainly corporate-commercial law and commercial real estate law. As part of her duties, she conducts due diligence searches in various public registers, including the various government corporate registers and the Québec register of personal and movable real rights, and she is also in regular contact with municipal authorities regarding taxation, valuation and municipal zoning matters. She analyzes results and prepares search reports.
Antonietta also looks after filling out forms related to the registration or cancellation of rights in the register of personal and movable real rights and drafting certain deeds for registration in the Québec land registry, such as notices of commercial leases and discharges. Antonietta used to assist the securities department with certain searches to obtain information from, among others, the SEDAR, Edgar and DisclosureNet websites.
Antonietta received her college degree in Paralegal Studies in 2001 from the Séminaire de Sherbrooke and began working for Davies the same year. She initially began working with the firm as a corporate secretary in the Corporate department and has been a paralegal in commercial real estate since 2006.
