Brian Clark is a partner practising in the areas of commercial real estate and corporate law. He is experienced in a variety of transactions, including asset based purchase and sale transactions, commercial leasing, real property financing, infrastructure development and public/private partnerships. Brian has also co-authored published articles on surety obligations in respect of bankrupt tenants, subtenants and the right of distress, mortgage postponements, real estate title insurance and the
Partition Act (Ontario).
Brian has been involved in a variety of matters, including the City of Toronto's acquisition of Union Station, the lease of new office and broadcasting space by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, the acquisition of a number of shopping center facilities, and various commercial office, retail and industrial leases.
Brian received a B.Comm. from the University of Calgary in 1994 and an LL.B. and M.B.A. from Dalhousie University in 2000. Brian became a partner in 2004.
