Srijan Agrawal is an associate in the competition group. He has gained experience in various competition law matters such as mergers, misleading advertising and criminal conspiracy investigations.
Srijan participated in the merger of Agricore United with Saskatchewan Wheat Pool in a deal valued at $1.8 billion. He assisted in various competition law related matters in respect of Enterprise-Rent-A-Car’s purchase of Vanguard Car rentals and has also provided assistance to companies with respect to their ongoing competition law obligations.
Prior to joining the firm, Srijan clerked for the Court of Arbitration for Sport during the 2006 Torino Winter Olympic Games. While attending law school, Srijan assisted Professor Richard McLaren in writing
Secured Transactions in Personal Property in Canada, the Annotated Ontario Personal Property Security Act and
Canadian Commercial Reorganization: Preventing Bankruptcy.
Srijan received an H.B.A. from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and an LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario. Srijan joined the firm as articling student in 2006 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2007.
