      Acted as transaction counsel to the consortium comprised of Meridiam Infrastructure Managers and Pomerleau Construction which were short-listed to respond to a request for proposal from the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications and the Agence des partenariats public-privé du Québec for the design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of the new Montréal concert hall.

      Acted for Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services, Inc. which with a major financial partner each acquired a 50% interest from SITQ National Inc. in the building located at 1981 McGill College Avenue in Montréal, Québec.   2008  
      Acted for Cominar Real Estate Investment Trust on its acquisition of SITQ's interest in the building located at 2001 McGill College Avenue in Montréal, Québec in a deal valued at $165 million.   2008  
      Acted for Mirlaw Investments Ltd. in the sale of Complex Place Crémazie located in Montréal to 9197-3586 Québec Inc.   2008  
      Acted for Cominar REIT in its acquisition of Alexis Nihon REIT in a transaction valued at $440 million.   2007  
      Acted for Cominar REIT in its $592 million acquisition of 6.5 million square feet of office and industrial properties from Homburg Invest Inc., representing approximately 72% of the leasable space acquired by Homburg in its purchase of Alexis Nihon REIT.   2007  
      Acted for Rogers Wireless Inc. in its successful defence of an injunction proceeding brought by Telus Corporation concerning claims of misleading advertising.   2006  
      Acted for BMO Nesbitt Burns in the purchase of mortgages, valued at $155 million, from Laurentian Bank of Canada.   2006  
      Acted for the Royal Bank of Canada with respect to the investment in Maxi Poultry Co. Ltd. by Chicago-based Lake Pacific Partners.   2006  
      Acted for MethylGene Inc. in connection with the entering into of a Collaborative Research, Development and Commercialization Agreement for its histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitors with Pharmion Corporation in North America, Europe, the Middle East and certain other markets. This transaction was valued at up to US$272 million and was thought to be the largest early stage biotechnology pact in Canada. As part of the transaction, Pharmion subscribed for US$5 million of MethylGene common shares.   2006  
      Acted for Premier Tech Ltd. in a loan agreement providing for a revolving credit facility of up to US$70 million made available to it by CIT Business Credit Canada Inc. The proceeds from the facility were used to refinance existing indebtedness and will also be used to provide for the ongoing working capital requirements and ongoing business development of Premier Tech Ltd.   2005
