David works regularly on a number of asset securitization programs, liquidity facilities, credit derivatives transactions, commercial arbitrage and other structured product offerings, such as collateralized debt and loan obligations and synthetic securitizations.  David has acted for issuers, sellers, purchasers, trustees and credit enhancers in connection with the securitization of receivables, loans, leases, and commercial and residential mortgages, the provision of credit default protection and the placement of CDOs, CLOs and other structured products.

David has also worked with a number of Canada's chartered banks and other Canadian institutions in connection with their private investment funds and the establishment of their employee co-investment programs.  Recently, he worked with TD Capital in connection with the establishment of the $525 million TD Capital Private Equity Investors fund-of-funds and the $500 million TD Capital Mezzanine Partners mezzanine debt fund.

David received a B.A. (Honours) from the University of Toronto and graduated from McGill University's Faculty of Law with an LL.B. and B.C.L. in 1998.  He became a partner in 2002.
