Rhonda Rudick is a tax partner. Her practice is diverse, including tax aspects of domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, financings, corporate reorganizations and real estate transactions. Rhonda is also experienced in estate planning.

In recent years, Rhonda has advised on the tax aspects of several real estate transactions, including the acquisitions of 2020 University Street from SITQ. Rhonda has also advised on the tax aspects related to cross-border financings, including the issuance by The Hockey Company and Sport Maska Inc. of US$125 million of senior structured note units using a cross-border dual note financing structure and the issuance by Kimco Realty Corporation of US$150M notes.

Rhonda chairs a monthly tax study group. She is also a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation, the International Fiscal Association, and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. She has been recognized as an up and coming corporate tax practitioner by the Canadian Legal LEXPERT Directory.

Rhonda has written articles for the Corporate Structures and Groups Journal and the Taxation of Executive Compensation and Retirement Journal. She has also lectured at the McGill Centre for Continuing Education - Taxation of Real Estate course. Rhonda received a B.A. in Administrative and Commercial Studies from the University of Western Ontario and an LL.B. and B.C.L. from McGill University in 1996.
