Recent transactions in which Sonny has been involved include the $4.45 billion offering of bonds by Canada Housing Trust No.1, the arrangement of $200 million syndicated loan facilities for CML Healthcare, the US$750 million offering of senior secured notes by Rogers Wireless, the US$350 million offering of senior secured notes by Rogers Cable, the $45 million offering of common shares by Russel Metals, the US$200 million offering of high yield notes by Bombardier Recreational Products, the $250 million bought deal offering of non-voting shares by Rogers Communications, the US$191 million overnight marketed offering of common shares and warrants by Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited and the $337 million bought deal offering of non-voting shares by Telus Corporation.

Sonny received both his B.Comm. (with Distinction) in 1996 and his LL.B. in 1999 from the University of Victoria.  He became a partner in 2003.

Sonny also speaks Hindi and Punjabi.
