Sandra Mastrogiuseppe is a partner specializing in corporate and commercial litigation and arbitration. She has significant experience at both the trial and appellate levels before the Courts in the Province of Quebec.
She has been involved in a broad range of significant files, including complex contractual conflicts, injunctions, seizures, liability claims involving commercial products, environmental disputes, and inter-generational shareholder disputes. As part of her practice centered on shareholder disputes, Sandra regularly considers a variety of different available oppression remedies and advises her clients on same, ensuring minimal disruption to active, on-going business concerns, or overseeing other alternatives as may be required.
Sandra has represented a range of public and private companies including Alimentation Couche-Tard, An Post, First Capital Realty Inc., GE Capital, Home Depot Canada Inc., IMP Group Limited, Jesta Capital Corp., Metso Paper Ltd, Teleglobe Inc., The Aldo Group Inc. and Vincor International Inc.
She is active in the legal community and is a member of the Canadian and Quebec Bar Associations since 1996, the same year she began her practice with the firm. Sandra is also a member of the Junior Bar Association of Montréal as well as a member of Montréal's Italian Chamber of Commerce. She enjoys giving lectures to students outside the firm who are considering a career in law, while at the firm, she is the Montréal litigation practice group coordinator and is active in student recruiting and student/stagiaire evaluation and development. Sandra is also active in the firm's business development in the area of litigation.
Sandra completed her B.A. in History and Political Science at McGill University in 1992 and followed this with an LL.B. from the Université de Montréal in 1995. She became a partner in 2001.
