Benoit Archambault specializes in intellectual property and heads the trademark sector of our Montréal office. He is responsible for supervising and managing all the trademarks portfolios assigned to the firm.

In addition to satisfying the firm's client requests, at the domestic as well as international level, Benoit takes an active part in large-scale initiatives to develop and implement international trademark protection strategies. Advocating a sustainable prevention approach, Benoit speaks at in-house business seminars to make clients aware of the major issues related to this area. Benoit also advises the other firm members on all matters pertaining to transactions, licences and conflicts involving trademarks. Recently, he was actively involved in the international IP acquisition for Amcor Limited and the restructuring of the trademark portfolio of Teleglobe.

Benoit is a member of professional associations specialized in intellectual property and trademarks, including the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) and the International Trade-Marks Association (INTA). He is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association (CBA).

Benoit obtained his B.A. in History and his LL.B. at Université de Montréal in 1991. He is also a trademark agent registered with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office.
