- Acted for Neucel Specialty Cellulose Ltd. and Wellspring Capital in connection with the financing of a pulp mill in Port Alice, British Columbia and a strategic investment by a Chinese firm, Fulida.
- Acted for Bellus Health Inc. in the negotiation of agreements pursuant to which a subsidiary of Celtic Therapeutics will acquire and license worldwide rights related to the Phase III investigational product candidate KIACTA (for the treatment of AA Amyloidosis).
- Acted for Kimco North Trust III, an entity controlled by Kimco Realty Corp., a leading U.S.-based REIT, in connection with its private placement offering of $150 million principal amount of 5.99% notes due 2018.
- Acted for BELLUS Health Inc. with respect to a rights offering, resulting in the issuance of 52,363,419 common shares for aggregate proceeds of $9.6 million.
- Acted for Game Day Entertainment, LLC in its acquisition of Kangaroo Media Inc.
