Kateryna Yason is an associate practicing in the areas of corporate/commercial and securities law.

Since joining the firm as a student in 2007, Kateryna has been involved in a variety of transactions, including public and private securities offerings, reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, and asset sales and acquisitions. Most notably, she has participated in the public $110,550,000 offering of common shares by Jaguar Mining Inc. and in the reorganization and acquisition of Novamerican Steel Inc. by Symmetry Holdings Inc. As part of her practice, Kateryna advises clients on compliance with ongoing corporate and securities law obligations.

Kateryna received a B.A. (Honours) with High Distinction from the University of Toronto in 2003 and an LL.B./M.B.A. from Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business in 2007. Kateryna speaks Ukrainian and Russian. She articled with the firm and was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2008.
