Carl Irvine is an associate in our tax group. His practice concentrates on all aspects of domestic and international tax planning, corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, as well as corporate finance.
Carl has written several papers on public policy issues. His most recent paper is a chapter co-authored with David Duff in
Critical Issues in Environmental Taxation, Vol. III entitled “Road Pricing in Theory and Practice: A Canadian Perspective”.
Carl graduated from Queen’s University in 2000 with a B.A. (Honours) in Economics (1st Class Standing). He received an M.A. in Economics from the University of Toronto in 2001 and a J.D. (with Honours) from the University of Toronto in 2006. Carl summered and articled with the firm and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2007.
