Rhonda Levy is the Director, Knowledge Management of the Toronto office of Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP. In this role, Rhonda is responsible for leading and managing the knowledge management strategy of the Toronto office and for directing all of its knowledge management initiatives, including the development and maintenance of the Toronto office's precedent collection. In addition to directing the Toronto Knowledge Management Team, Rhonda works on firm-wide knowledge management projects with our offices in Montréal and New York.
Prior to assuming this role, Rhonda practised in the Business Group of another major Canadian law firm in Toronto, where she had particular responsibility for legal research in all areas of the firm’s Ontario and common law practice. She prepared opinions and provided advice to clients and other lawyers of the firm on a broad range of legal issues and prepared legal arguments for significant litigation.
Earlier in her career, Rhonda was a corporate and securities lawyer at another prominent Canadian law firm in Toronto. Her practice focused on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions.
Rhonda completed her undergraduate studies in English Literature (with Great Distinction, University Scholar) at McGill University in 1981 and graduated from McGill with both an LL.B. and B.C.L. (Honours) in 1985.
