Annie Gauthier is a lawyer who works in our Montréal office. She practices in the fields of mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, commercial law, life sciences and technology.
Annie also advises her clients on the drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements, including licensing agreements, transfer of technology agreements as well as supply and distribution agreements. More specifically, in the life sciences sector, she has participated in the drafting and negotiation of numerous research and development agreements, at both the pre-clinical and clinical levels, as well as licensing agreements and copromotion agreements. Before joining our firm, Annie practiced law in a large Canadian law firm. She also worked in the Montreal legal affairs department of a major Canadian company.
Annie has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 2002, a trademark agent since 2003 and a member of the Canadian Bar Association since 2004 and is also a member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC), the Licensing Executives Society (LES) and the Canadian Health Licensing Association (CHLA). She sits on the joint IPIC-McGill committee as Assistant Director of the "Understanding Patents" course offered by McGill University.
Annie began her Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.) and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) at McGill University and, in 2000, completed her studies at the National University of Singapore. She also articled with a large law firm in Singapore and joined our firm in 2007.
Annie speaks French and English fluently.
