Olivier Fournier is a lawyer practising in the area of taxation from our Montréal office. Throughout his practice, Olivier is often involved with structuring and planning for domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, developing structures which maximize the Federal and Provincial SR & ED tax credits for various clients in the high tech and life sciences sectors, executive compensation structures as well as various personal and estate planning structures and reorganizations.
In 2005, he was awarded the Carswell National Tax Award. He was also the first recipient of the Nathalie Goyette Tax Award. Olivier is member of the Canadian Tax Foundation, the APFF and the M.B.A. Association of Quebec.
Olivier holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology (2002), a law degree (LL.L 2005), and an M.B.A. from the University of Ottawa. He was called to the Quebec Bar in 2006 and joined the firm in 2007.
He is perfectly fluent in French and English and has a good knowledge of Spanish.
